
If you fit the stove yourself, your installation must comply with current Building Regulations outlined in Document J. A check from your local Building Regulations inspector will confirm that the installation is fitted to standard and they will issue you with Certification to confirm this.
If you get a Heating Engineer to fit the stove, your installation must still comply with current Building Regulations outlined in Document J. A check from your local Building Regulations inspector will confirm that the installation is fitted to standard and will issue you with Certification to confirm this.
If you get a HETAS approved Heating Engineer to fit the stove, your installation must still comply with current Building Regulations outlined in Document J. A check from your local Building Regulations inspector will not be required as the HETAS engineer can issue you with the certification that the installation is fitted to standard.
All gas appliances must be fitted by a CORGI Registered Heating Engineer. They will ensure the installation meets current standards, and will issue you with certification to confirm this.
